"There is nothing good or bad, but thinking makes it so"- Shakespeare
Shakespeare
has always been one of the most challenging languages of all time. I believe
that the quote listed above mean that our mind decides whether something is
good or bad. For example, my father smokes a lot. My brain thinks it is very
bad for you but my father brain believes that smoking is very good for you. It
is all about what your mind gets use to.
This quote relates to the different types of mindsets.
One of them is fixed mindset, which means that you need to be perfect at what
you do, and the other one is growth mindset, which mean that you need to work
hard to get to where you want to be. The quote related to this because you can
choose which type of mindset is a better choice for you.
This quote also connects to intrinsic motivation, you are
within an individual, and extrinsic motivation, being the outside of the
individual. This relates to the quotes
because we have to make a choice to either be our motivation or have someone
else motivate us. This quote relates to our everyday lives. Everyday we wake up
we have to make choices. For example, for breakfast i have a choice to eat a burger or cereal. For myself I would choose the cereal because I am use to
eating healthy, but for someone else it might me a good thing to eat the burger.
We as individuals all have different minds. Our different minds make us all unique.
