3V My Motivation

Motivation- the reason or reasons one has for acting or behaving in a particular way

          Whenever I think of the word motivation I think of my parents. Their reason for coming to America was to give us better opportunities and better education. This reason always motivates me to do better in school and appreciate everything that is given to me.  Also my boyfriend motivates me too. He is always pushing me to do better. And even when I fail at something he is always there telling me that it is okay for me to make mistakes and that I can always try again.

         This year my motivation comes from my family and my friends. I believe that no one can succeed without motivation. Everyone needs someone to push them to do better in life.

Two new words that I learned this week were empirical which means that something is based on something and paradigm which is a typical example of something.
