Delayed Gratification- the ability to resist the temptation
for an immediate reward and wait for a later reward.
Everyone has been patient at some point in his or her life.
That patience is called Delayed Gratification. A lot of people have tested this with the marshmallow
project. They believe that by this you can predict the children’s future. I believe
that delayed gratification has its ups and downs just like I said in my
previous blogs. I also believe that the tests that have been done to prove that
delayed gratification leads to success, actually works.
Two words that I learned
this week were elusive, which means difficult to find, and Idiosyncratic, which
means individual.
